Did you know that Flora High School has a legendary basketball player? Janice Hardy was inducted into the professional Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2006 with her teammates of the All American Redheads.

In those days, the All American Redheads were an opening act for the well-known Harlem Globetrotters. In fact, on one occasion, the team actually played against the Globetrotters as the other team had missed a flight.
